SATURDAY, AUGUST 1, 2020

Swedish Blogger

I had the most magical weekend my first time visiting the Swedish town of Solvang. Alder, Maple, Oak, and honeysuckle trees, all grown in Sweden, lined these perfectly paved streets. The leaves fell as the morning sunshine peek through, and it was stunning.

Paula’s Pancake House

The first and premiere place to have a gorgeous authentic danish breakfast is here. Paula’s boasts the best buttermilk pecan pancakes in town! Arrive early for obvious and delicious reasons.

Little Swedish Shops

After breakfast, we couldn’t wait to walk around and see what the town had to offer! I had to stop in one of many small shops to pick up fabric for a skirt I’m making. The material was beautiful and I was in awe with everything they had. Definitely going to purchase from again.

Olsens’s Danish Village Bakery

European pastries and sweet treats were definitely on our list, hearts, and minds. We had heard locals talk about this place and it did not disappoint. The smell of apple strudel filled the air, and the cream cheese danish was a delight.
